BOOKLAND CLUB: "Five children and it" - part 2

Did you know that if we dig a hole in London we can reach Australia? This is what the protagonists of our current reading,
"Five children and it", were trying to do when they dicovered the sand fairy. So they inmediately forgot about Australia and they started making wishes and getting into trouble, as you know. By the way, have you ever wondered what the antipode of A Coruña is? According to geodatos.net, the opposite side of the world to A Coruña is Methven, Canterbury, New Zealand, not very far from Australia. The distance between these 2 cities is about 20,000 km. A direct flight would take around 22 hours, but there aren´t commercial routes from one city to the other.
Well, in our latest session of BookLand, we started to dig a hole to our antipodes, but we stopped almost immediately when we found the first treasure: gold coins! That was one of our wishes, so we decided to make more but, this time, in different ways: we threw a coin to a wishing well, we wrote them in a piece of paper which introduced in a wish chest until they are granted, when we will burn them. What we tried to do is to relive all the wishes of the protagonists of our reading: "Five children and it". Let´s see what happens... Meanwhile, we have to finish this fascinating story... Can you guess the ending?
