Hello bookworms,
Today, in our session of the Book Club, we have read "The Borrowers", a fantasy novel by Mary Norton. It features a tiny family who lives secretely under the floor of an English house and "borrows" things from the big people in order to survive.
The book has received numerous awards and recognitions through the latest years and has been adapted for televison and cinema. That´s why we have also held a cinema session, when we enjoyed a bit of the film and some popcorn! Take a look at the pics and at the trailer of the film, realeased by the BBC in 2011.
