BOOKWORMS: "George´s marvellous medicine"

Our Bookworms Club is coming to an end. The last reading for this school year is
"George´s marvellous medicine", by Roald Dahl, one of the most popular and successful children´s authors of all times. Born in Wales, he started to write books after a serious flying accident. His stories are still enjoyed by millions of kids around the world, and many have been turned into films, plays and musicals, such as "Matilda", "Charlie and the chocolate factory" or "The witches".

With a large exhibition of all the ingredients used, yesterday we had the chance to try George´s "magic medicine" and some "horse pills", whose side effects are still to come. And we even prepared some banoffee pies, with a bit of toffee, some cream and banana. Delicious!
Here is a book trailer for you, a PPT of the story and a funny video made by our lovely local librarians, who dared to try a TikTok this time with a successful result!!! Thank you girls!!!.
