O mar e a arte

O mar foi fonte de inspiración para diversos artistas ao longo da historia. Pintores, escultores, músicos, escritores... utilizaron os mares e océanos para dar a súa interpretación e visión persoal a algo tan presente nas nosas vidas. Esta semana serán pintoras e escultoras as que centren as preguntas, podedes utilizar os recursos do corredor de entrada ou as páxinas webdo repositorio do proxecto, acudindo á sección de "Arte".

Mar e deporte

O mar é escenario de moitos deportes, algúns deles olímpicos. Nas súas augas desenvólvense competicións de diveras modalidades deportivas, nesta semana teredes que investigar sobre estes deportes e tratar de responder ás preguntas que se fan. Podedes utilizar os libros que tedes na exposición do corredor de entrada ou ben consultar os recursos da sección "Deporte".

BOOKLAND CLUB: "The secret of the stones"

Yesterday we, the inhabitants of Bookland, met once again in the school library to comment on this month title: "The secret of the stones". After having read the first 5 chapters of this exciting story, we are quite sure who wants to steal Uncle Stephen´s old book of secrets and we have made our list of suspects: we agreed that Mrs. Black and Mr. Knife behave in a suspicious manner. But we don´t know yet what the strange symbol means: a circle with a triangle and a cross inside. Does the cross have something to do with the name of the village, Stonecross? Is the circle related to Stonehenge? And the triangle? We even talked about The Rosetta Stone, which was an invaluable help in the study of the Egyptian hieroglyphs, and we even had a replica of the real one on the table. We saw the 3 languages that appear in it and we could compare them. Amazing!

Mares e océanos

Como xa sabedes, na Terra a maior parte da súa superficie está ocupada por auga, esta organízase, entre outras, en mares e océanos. Esta semana deberedes procurar nos recursos dixitais sobre "xeografía" que tedes no repositorio e tamén nos libros que tedes na exposición para poder responder ás preguntas que se propoñen.

BOOK CLUBS: Radio programme 2

The second edition of THE BOOK NOOK, your favourite radio show, is ready for you! Remember that it is made entirely in English for and by  students at Emilia Pardo Bazán School. It is a great chance for us to get closed to the world of the radio, as well as an invaluable tool to improve our speaking skills in a foreign language. As usual, the programme is divided in 5 different sections, all of them related to books:

BOOKWORMS CLUB: "Arthur and the sword in the stone"

We have just finished the latest session of our Bookworms Club and we must say that we are fascinated by today´s story: "Arthur and the sword in the stone". It is one of the most astonishing legends of the British culture: a boy who was the only one capable of pulling a sword out of a rock and this fact made him king of England in the Middle Ages. This particular event is the one narrated in the reading of this month, but there are many other captivating aspects related to King Arthur: Excalibur, his famous sword, given by the Lady in the Lake; his wife, Queen Guinevere; his fantastic castle, Camelot; his Knights of the Round Table, always in search of the Holy Grail. We have even lived a mesmerizing moment when we have recreated the ceremony of knighthood: one by one, we have been dubbed by the King and we are now Sirs and Dames of the Order of the British Empire. What an honour! And the act finished with a traditional dance. You should have seen our dancing qualities...

Episodio 2 de Onda Ti

Publicamos o segundo episodio da terceira tempora do programa Onda Ti, no que recollemos as gravacións dos nenos/as das diferentes etapas e cursos do CEIP Emilia Pardo Bazán. Este programa, que comezou no confinamento, quere ser unha recompilación do traballo que desenvolve o alumnado no estudio de Emilia na Onda. Como en anteriores ocasións a próxima semana cada sección estará publicada no respectivo programa da canle en Ivoox.

Volcán submariño

Mañá comezan os VenreXperimentos de marzo, neste mes irá á biblioLab o alumnado dos grupos de 4º de Educación Primaria. Nesta ocasión veremos como inflúe a temperatura da auga na súa densidade, para comprobalo realizaremos un experimento no que reproduciremos un volcán submariño.
