GLOBETROTTERS: New Delhi

Our tour is coming to an end! We have just visited New Delhi, where we had the chance to enjoy the scents and colours of this exotic city while we moved around by tuc-tuc: the India Gate, the Garden of 5 Senses, the Lotus Temple and the magnificent Taj Mahal with its romantic story. Such an experience! In our dead time we read the exciting "Charlie and the great fire of London", as long as "The borrowers", both of them linked to India. What else? We also brought a friendly couple with us: Dinkar and Babita, language assistants in Sada, our neighbour town. We had the honour to receive them in our school and learn more about their customs and traditions such as the food, flag, currency, religion, flora, fauna and spices. They even gave us a jar of curry, a bag of scented petals and some Marigold seeds as a memory if their visit. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and commitment! You are now part of our family of English speakers!

We don´t say goodbye yet. It is possible that we can have an extra trip soon, this time not very far away. Who knows? Life is full of surprises...
