The last meeting of our Bookworms club was a bit curious, I must say: it was full of hippies!!! Yes! Hippies! Do you remember the Flower Children? Kids with flowers in their hair and colourful clothes, making the V-sign with their fingers and singing peace songs? That´s what we were for a day: we had the chance to talk about Peace Day and to read a moving tale of tolerance and respect: "Tusk, tusk", by the famous British illustrator David McKee. We also learned about the hippie movement of the 60s and 70s, and about the acceptance of what is different. Take a look...
Peace, love and happy reading!!!
